I put on my Tinder profile that I hate sports, I don’t drink beer and I’m 150% feminine all day all the time and so many guys are like…offended? this isn’t an isolated thing. women are expected to change for men. if you don’t want to have children (ever) then someone is bound to say to you: well, what if your husband wants to have children? i was thinking about dyeing my hair & my dad says, what if the guy you’re dating doesn’t like it? we’re expected to lose weight & to dress in a certain way to appeal to men. we’re expected to be less opinionated, less assertive, less talented when competing against a man… it never fucking ends.

Granite bought me a Garmin Forerunner watch for my birthday. I used it for the first time over the weekend and I’ve gone insane.
Prior to this watch, I was sporting an old fashion Timex. I rarely calculated my pace unless I was on the track.
Now that I have fancy technology, I can see my pace which means I can yell at myself when I am slow and push myself to run faster. I am slightly competitive.
Hoping, I can fuel this insanity to my advantage and better track my progress!
Finals done, 2nd year of university done, and home for a week to visit the fam. Grinding for these final weeks of prep and so ready to really see these changes. My body is typically very slow with weight loss, with slight changes, and then the final weeks of prep it’s like everything comes together.
Take tons of progress pics and keep them in albums and be objective when you look at them. It’s easy to criticize your progress pictures in the moment, but when I go back and look at my progress from this week to a few weeks ago, I can really see a difference. When you’re looking at yourself every day, it’s hard to notice that anything even looks different. I even cut my face out and compare the pictures because it allows me to objectively compare without me being like lol this is a pic of my horrid morning face.
